It’s Isamune To The Rescue!

Isamune is an Isagenix superstar that often goes ignored. This sleeping giant is really one of the most amazing nutritional supplements you can put in your body. Safe and essential for the entire family, Isamune is a proprietary formulation of bovine colostrum.

So What is Bovine Colostrum? Colostrum is the premilk fluid produced from mammary glands during the first 2 to 4 days after birth. It is a rich natural source of nutrients, antibodies, and growth factors for the newborn. Almost identical to human colostrum, bovine colostrum is even higher in nutrients. IsamuneTM is a proprietary formulation representing the highest quality, most nutrient dense source of bovine colostrum available.

What is Bovine Colostrum used for? Bovine colostrum has been used to treat diarrhea, to improve GI health, to boost the immune system, build lean muscle and more. Colostrum contains immune factors, immunoglobulins, antibodies, proline-rich polypeptides (PRP), lactoferrin, glycoproteins, lactalbumins, cytokines (eg, interleukin, and interferon), growth factors, vitamins, and minerals. There also is a constituent isolated from bovine colostrums that is responsible for uterine and intestinal contraction, and lowering of blood pressure.

Immunostimulant: The immune-boosting properties of bovine colostrum have been promoted as performance enhancers and anti-aging/healing supplements. There is much evidence that suggests bovine colostrum can provide significant fitness gains for athletes due it’s “anabolic effects” and its ability to promote muscle growth. One clinical trial finds bovine colostrum supplement to increase serum IGF-1 concentration in athletes. IGF-1 is a growth factor that speeds up protein synthesis and slows muscle breakdown. This of course, also makes it helpful in the area of fat burning.

Certain immune factors and antibodies found in Colostrum also help fight a variety of organisms, allergens, or toxins including pneumonia, candida, and flu. One component, lactoferrin, prevents pathogens from getting the iron they need to flourish. Lactalbumins and cytokines (interleukin and interferon) also are important as antivirals and anticancer agents.

Singers, actors and others who speak publicly tout the benefit of Isamune’s ability to protect the voice and throat from over use. Just another of this sleeping giant’s hidden attributes.

GI aid: In animal studies, bovine colostrum has been shown to have a high capacity for neutralization of bacterial toxins and high effectiveness in treating severe diarrhea. In another report, bovine colostrum has been shown to prevent NSAID-induced gut injury in various laboratory and animal studies, suggesting its possible usefulness for certain ulcerative bowel conditions.

Isagenix’s IsamuneTM is a revolutionary super concentrated liquid form of bovine colostrum formulated using an exclusive proprietary process that preserves the highest level of immune support in colostrum. This exclusive Isamune colostrum is collected from BSE-free, BST-free, hormone-free milk from grass fed New Zealand cows. Simply the finest, most potent form of bovine colostrum available!

Make sure you and your family get the benefits of this amazing natural super nutrient straight from the farm.

Brian Klemmer, author of The Compassionate Samurai, was the featured guest at a recent webinar called “Masters of Masterminding.”  He shared how a mentor helped to shape his way of thinking many years ago.

Klemmer’s mentor asked him, “So, what’s your life plan?  Do you have a one-year plan; a five-year plan; a ten-year plan?”

When Brian answered no to each of these questions, his mentor waved him off and told him to go immediately and create a list of goals.  Klemmer returned several days later, proudly presenting his 50-year plan.  He felt certain that he would receive praise for thinking ahead to what very well could be his entire lifespan.

Instead, Brian’s mentor scolded him for limiting the plan to his own lifetime.

“What happens after you’re gone?  Don’t you want your work to benefit future generations? What about building a legacy and establishing foundations to preserve your work for posterity?”

Most of us have heard the old adage, “Anything worth doing is worth doing right.”  But should we not also consider that anything worth doing right – especially if it is our life’s work – is also worth doing long after we’ve left to receive our heavenly reward?

When we catch the vision for meaningful contribution and pour ourselves into those who share that vision, our work takes on a life of its own.  It stands the test of time and lives into perpetuity.

What does honor mean to you?

I did not fully comprehend the concepts of honor and dishonor until I got older. I realized that those who treated me in an honoring way – as well as those who treated me in a dishonoring way – played a larger role in my life than I suspected.

I understand the noun “honor.” That’s an easy one. Putting your hand over your heart as you recite the Pledge of Allegiance to give respect to the flag of our country; receiving an award for high achievement.

But the act of honoring has a broader and more emotional meaning.

Some people never miss an opportunity to point out the faults in others. I used to believe that putting someone down elevated me on those days when I felt worthless. How many times have I talked down to someone else? Maybe a flight attendant who didn’t serve me quickly enough, or a clerk who was not as attentive as I would have liked.

We dishonor others in many ways. Arriving late for an appointment is dishonoring behavior. We communicate that our time is worth more than that of others.

Abusing an expense account dishonors your company. Leaving a mess in the employee kitchen dishonors your co-workers.

If we are going to positively influence our community – and ultimately, our world – we must start by empowering others to rise to a level they never thought possible. Speak well of your employer. Give others credit for their contributions. Build them up in front of others.

Focus today on adding value to someone’s life, then stand back and watch as he or she begins to emerge as a leader who, in turn, begins to sow honor into others. It’s catching!

Taking Inventory

Most of us like the feel of a new beginning. Some of us wipe the slate clean on January first, making a list of resolutions for the New Year. Some of us get that psychological boost when we do Spring cleaning, inside and out. And others put their personal and spiritual affairs in order in the Fall, with the start of the High Holy Days.

Author Napoleon Hill was a master at helping people take inventory of themselves. He identified the characteristics shared by successful people and, conversely, those traits that almost always ensure failure. I won’t itemize his lists here, but I will share two important characteristics that help us boil it down.

The one quality that every successful person exhibits is Persistence. Talk to anyone who appears to have the tiger by the tail; ask them if they ever suffered a defeat. Every last one of them will tell you they failed many times before finding the winning formula. The key is that they picked themselves up, dusted themselves off and tried again.

One of the most common causes of failure is Procrastination. Anxiety clouds our thinking when we begin a new project or tackle a new resolution. We wait for just the right moment, operating with the belief that timing is the secret to a successful launch. But Hill says the time will never be “just right.” Start where you are and work with the tools you have right now.

Beat the New Year’s rush. Resolve today to conquer any tendency to procrastinate, and persist until you get it right.
